Dörflifäscht

When Zurich’s historical center is transformed into one long party mile, that is a sure sign that it is time for the “Dörflifäscht”.

For two days, the history-steeped Niederdorf quarter – which the locals also like to refer to as “Niederdörfli”, or “Dörfli” for short – is transformed into an exuberant party mile. Market stalls are set up between Central and Bellevue, and many bars and stores come up with special attractions for passers-by. In addition, open-air parties featuring stages, well-known DJs, and bands are held at six central locations, including Rosenhof and Hirschenplatz.
